M in KC, thanks for the videos actually I had my phone right in front of me when I did the job the only thing that I couldn't do is running the pump by the volunteer.Ġ5 PreeUs the first time I started the engine after filled the whole full gallon of coolant with heater on high and HI temperature until the engine warmed up and getting hot air from the heater I started to fill the other 2 quart of coolant slowly then closed the bleeder and the radiator cap then I turned the car off for couple hours then check coolant level I had to add a little bit then took the car for drive and that when check engine light came on and I heard the coolant sound under the dash before I shut the engine off. That valve controls the flow of engine coolant to the cabin heater core vs. Check the coolant level at the radiator after the engine cools down (do not rely just on looking at the overflow reservoir.)Īfter you get all of the air out of the engine coolant loop, if DTC P1150 persists, then you will need to replace the engine coolant flow control valve. Keep at it until you no longer hear air bubbling in the heater core. You also need to run the engine at high RPM for 10 minutes or more while the cabin air temp is set to MAX HEAT and the fan is at a high speed, to circulate coolant through the heater core and get the air out of that path. What was your process to get air out of the engine coolant loop? (It apparently did not succeed since you can hear air bubbles in the heater core.)
